David Alan Simmons is an economist and author who, after a seven-year apprenticeship, spent 27 years working in the printing industry. During that time he started researching into economic and political affairs and subsequently wrote and published his first book, “Economic Power.”  He later wrote and published “Ideals and Dogma – A Critique of Pure Marxism”. He then returned to formal education and studied economics to degree level, followed by politics and sociology to post-graduate level.
